Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage in der Corona-Pandemie hat der Hessische Rundfunk alle öffentlichen Konzerte des hr-Sinfonieorchesters im Monat März abgesagt.

Die Begegnung verschiedener musikalischer Welten ist das Markenzeichen des Music Discovery Projects. Ungewohnte Kontraste und Mischungen zwischen Klassik und Pop, Orchester und Elektronik sind hier immer wieder neu zu erleben. Wer in der stets ausverkauften Jahrhunderthalle diesmal als Special Guest zum hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt kommt, wird wie gewohnt erst später bekannt gegeben. Auf jeden Fall sind zudem der finnische Ausnahme-Geiger und aktuelle »Artist in Residence« Pekka Kuusisto bei dem Musikevent an Bord sowie der neue »Composer in Residence« des hr-Sinfonieorchesters Bryce Dessner – international gefeiert auch als Gitarrist der US-amerikanischen Rock-Band The National.

Due to the current situation in the Corona pandemic, the Hessischer Rundfunk has cancelled all public concerts of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony in the month of March.
The hallmark of the Music Discovery Project is the encounter between different musical worlds. Unusual contrasts and blends of classical and pop, orchestra and electronics can be constantly experienced here anew. As always, the special guest at this Frankfurt Radio Symphony concert, held in the Jahrhunderthalle concert hall and always a sellout, will be announced later. What we do know is that the exceptional Finnish violinist and current »Artist in Residence« Pekka Kuusisto will be on board at this musical event, as well as the new Frankfurt Radio Symphony »Composer in Residence« Bryce Dessner – the internationally acclaimed guitarist of the US rock band The National.
